We’ve seen Postcards Cafe in passing through Hanalei and didn’t give it much thought. Then someone recommended we go there and boy were we pleased. We celebrated a birthday and did it in style. Postcards is located on the right side of the highway if you are leaving Hanalei for Princeville. That means it’s really on the outskirts of Hanalei. There is a really cute shop next door you should check out as well.
First, the entrance. You go under an archway that is truly beautiful at night. They seated us right away – we had reservations which is recommended. You can text back and forth with them.
The inside is really nicely appointed and has a very homey feel. I had the lamb and my wife had the tuna. Both were excellent. We also had the Young Lettuce salad. For desert it was cheesecake. The wine was very good as well. Check out their menu in the image gallery or from this link.
I guess what stood out to us the most was the service. They really go the extra mile to care for their guests. We felt right at home.
We will definitely go back here next time we’re in Hanalei. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 – 8:30PM.
